The redevelopment of the Rue Général de Gaulle in Saint-Joseph, La Réunion, has come to an end.

📅 Begun at the end of June and completed in December 2023, the redevelopment of rue Général de Gaulle has been a real challenge. 25 years after adopting one-way traffic, rue Général de Gaulle is back to two-way traffic.

🎯 A crucial axis in the heart of the city of Saint-Joseph, the work, costing 2.45
million required special organization to keep traffic moving and meet the delivery date.
As their elders once did, Saint-Joseph motorists and other road users can once again use this west-to-east route. It is also a strategic development in the creation of the future “Ring”, the ring road around the heart of the city.

A real challenge taken up by all those involved in the project: setec international, SBTPC SOGEA REUNION, GTOI – LES GRANDS TRAVAUX DE L’OCEAN INDIEN, Hydretudes, Ville de Saint-Joseph.

As they say in Reunion, ” Pa kapab lé mor san esséyé!
(you don’t know what you’re capable of until you try it!)
