Le projet

The New Bridge over the Saint-Denis River project is located in the north of Reunion Island, in the municipality of Saint-Denis. It is located on the western edge of Saint-Denis, bordering the city center and the city’s northernmost districts: Barachois and Bas de la Rivière. This project will connect the Nouvelle Route du Littoral (NRL) to the center of Saint-Denis, improving the integration of public transport and easing traffic entering Saint-Denis from the west. This project is a precursor to the larger Nouvelle Entrée Ouest (NEO) project, which will eventually separate local and transit traffic and restructure the Saint-Denis waterfront.

Nos missions

The mission entrusted to setec is complete project management, with additional tasks relating to regulatory files.
In addition to the standard project management tasks, the setec international-setec als consortium has been entrusted with the following tasks:

– Ordering-Piloting-Coordination in the design and construction phases,

– dynamic traffic modelling for current and future traffic situations,

– drawing up the various regulatory and administrative authorization files, and assisting the project owner with these procedures,

– Assistance to the project owner with communication during the design and construction phases.

Commissioning took place in 2020.
