Le projet

Bordeaux-Mérignac airport is the main airport in the Bordeaux region. Its perimeter is conceded to ADBM until 2037.

It hosts a wide range of activities on its platform:

  • commercial activity, with the special feature of the low-cost billi terminal,
  • military activity,
  • industrial activity with manufacturers’ test flights,
  • general and business aviation, with private and club flights.

In accordance with article 58 of the specifications applicable to state airport concessions, and under the impetus of the Grandes Orientations Stratégiques (GOS), ADBM is required to draw up its Schéma de Composition Générale (SCG), which must plan and organize the overall development of the hub up to an ultimate horizon defined at 20MPax, with an imposed plateau in 2037, the end of the concession.

It was in this context that setec was chosen to carry out this strategic study.

Nos missions

Le SCG est axé autour de 4 volets de développement :

  • Volet aéronautique,
  • Volet accessibilité terrestre,
  • Volet économique,
  • Volet développement durable.

Le volet DD consiste à réaliser une pré-évaluation environnementale du SCG : bruit, consommations énergétiques, biodiversité, gestion de l’eau… et d’assister le maître d’ouvrage dans la gestion des procédures.

L’élaboration du SCG s’est déroulé selon 4 phases successives :

  • Phase 1 : Diagnostic et analyse de l’existant
  • Phase 2 : Prévisions des trafics aérien et routier
  • Phase 3 : Élaboration de scénarios
  • Phase 4 : Approfondissement du scénario retenu

setec a donc effectué un diagnostic complet de la plateforme, élaboré les prévisions de trafics aérien et routier jusqu’à l’horizon 2037 (fin de la concession) avec comme horizon ultime 20MPax, et soumis à ADBM 3 scénarios complets, accompagnés d’outils d’aide à la décision dont une matrice d’analyse multicritères.

ADBM a ensuite fait le choix concerté d’un scénario préférentiel, que setec a développé.
