Le projet

The Moscow-St. Petersburg freeway is the first in the Russian Federation to have sections under concession.

Section 1, 43 km long, is connected at its origin to the Moscow Outer Ring Road (MKAD). In particular, it serves the national and international terminals of Sheremetyevo airport and the town of Zelenograd.

The main highlights of the project are

the need to ensure the economic equilibrium of the concession,
the complexity of some of the seven interchanges,
major viaducts, – its urban character at the origin of the project,
the implementation of a toll system and operating systems that ensure a high level of safety and service.

Construction work was carried out between 2010 and 2015.
