Expressway D4 (Prague Příbram Pisek)

Le projet

The D4 freeway project is the first PPP (Public Private Partnership) project in the Czech Republic. It covers :

financing, design, construction, operation and maintenance of the Háje – Mirotice section of the D4 freeway (2×2 lanes over 32km),
operation and maintenance of the existing Kalka – Háje and Mirotice – Krašovice sections of the D4 freeway, totalling 17 km in length.
The concession contract between the Ministry of Transport of the Czech Republic and Concessionaire Via Salis was signed in February 2021. The project will take 44 months to design and build, followed by 25 years of operation and maintenance.
The entire project will be implemented in full BIM version.

Nos missions

The Ministry of Transport of the Czech Republic and the concessionaire Via Salis have entrusted the Setec-SGS consortium with the independent engineering mission for the D4 freeway project between Skalka and Krašovice.

The mission covers design control, construction supervision and support during the operating phase. As leader of the consortium, Setec International was responsible for project management during the design and construction phases.
